Pictured at the monument were the Herty family along with Kiwanians Jeff Southerland, Shirley Pechon and Kristine Koepp. The Kiwanis Club of St. Bernard celebrated its annual prayer luncheon and memorial services on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. The Kiwanis Club recognizes the deceased members for their contribution to the Kiwanis Club of St. Bernard along with their service to the St. Bernard Community. A special monument located under the flagpole in Arabi lists those members. This past year saw three Kiwanians pass, Arlene Hughes, Jim Heyd and Floyd Herty. A special plaque was added on the memorial monument for each of these Kiwanians.
