Recently, the St. Bernard Rotary club held its annual officers Installation Award Banquet. The club President Lena Nunez recognized Diana Dysart with its Community Service Award for her dedication to the community and Public Education. This is the highest honor the club presents for outstanding service to the community. Dysart has 40 years of service as a member of the St. Bernard Parish School Board and truly embodies the club Motto; “Service above self.” Also honored by Rotarian Joey Difatta was the Rotarian of the year John Breakfield who served as Chairman of the Club’s annual Spelling Bee Committee, past President, Rotarian Board member and officer for the past two decades.
