The St. Bernard Parish Public School System is excited to announce that it will once again celebrate the holiday season at the Chalmette High Cultural Arts Center (CCAC) with a weekend filled with the joyful sounds of the season, showcasing the voices and instruments of the district’s performing arts students.
The festive offerings will begin on Dec. 9 and 10 at 7 p.m. in the CCAC when the high school performers present the annual Christmas Variety Show. The Fighting Owl Band, CHS Voices — including featured soloists — Charmers, CHS Tech Crew, and Talented Music Program members will take part in this magical Christmas celebration. Tickets to the event are limited and can be purchased beginning through Evenbrite for $10.Â
On Dec. 11 and 12, the elementary and middle school performers will showcase their arts programs. Each school will provide performers with invitations for the event. Although these performances are free, seating is limited, so invitations are required for entry.Â
