With May delays due to government applications and approvals along with the Covid situation, St. Bernard Christian Academy has now acquired the land to begin the process of construction of their new school in Meraux, La.
The location will be at the old Sears Store (4300 E. Judge Perez Dr.) site in Meraux down river from the existing Tractor Supply Store, specifically the southeast corner of the development. With the purchase of the property, the school can now start the bidding process for the school that has all the architectural drawings and bid information complete to move forward.
The school is currently operating out of the former Lynn Oaks School with plans to open at the new location in early 2022. St. Bernard Christian Academy has Pre-K 3 through 9th grade with plans to add 10th, 11th and 12th grades over the next few years. The success of St. Bernard Christian Academy in its first full year has shown to provide a High-Quality Curriculum with a Christian atmosphere.
