Old Arabi Bar on The River held its Inaugural crawfish cook off on Saturday May 8 benefiting the Louisiana National Guard, Child and Youth Program. They hit there goal and raised over $5000 for the program.
Nine teams competed in the cookoff. 1st place – Team Who Dat Distilling, 2nd place – Violet’s Best Bugs sponsored by Trident Liquid Services, 3rd place – Tail Blazers sponsored by Rustic Barrel Men’s Salon.
A special thanks to the vendors who came out, the bands – Members of Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes & the Jenn Howard Band and to the judges of the crawfish cookoff Chad Clark, Denis Ricou, Barry Lemoine, Natasha Robin and Desi Vega.
