NARFE Vernon N. Since 1985, NARFE has supported research into the cause, prevention, and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, and has donated more than $13,870.924.12, thus far. Landry Chapter 1398 for its next regular monthly meeting/luncheon on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021, beginning at 11 a.m., in the Sicilian Room of Rocky and Carlo’s Restaurant, 613 St. Bernard Hwy. Any active or Retired federal/postal employee interested in learning more about NARFE, the recognized go-to association devoted exclusively to protecting the earned pay and benefits of federal employees, retirees, and their survivors, is welcome. In keeping with recommended safety guidelines, attendees will social distance and wear masks at all times other than when eating or addressing the group.
