Lynn Dean

Former Parish President Lynn Dean recently passed away. Dean was born on 12/22/1923 and passed away on 7/6/2022, at the age of 98.
Dean served on the Parish School Board from 1981 to 1991. He was St. Bernard’s first ever Parish President from 1992 to 1996 and State Senator from 1996 to 2004.
Dean was known for “paving his own way in politics”.
President McInnis sent his gratitude for Dean’s public service and deepest condolences to the family.
Parish flags were flown at half-staff in his honor.
