The 2021 Chalmette High baseball team lost to Benton in the Louisiana High School Athletic Association state playoffs. Chalmette finished their season as the undefeated District 8-5A champions.
Chalmette travelled to Benton and lost 9-4. The Owls had seven hits in the game. Benton used a steady offense and good defense to win the game. They had eleven hits and scored runs in five innings. The Tiger did not allow any errors in the game 1 deposit casino uk.com.
Bryce Babin and Trent Gonzales each had two hits to lead the Chalmette offense. Babin also had two stolen bases. Gonzales also had a stolen base and he scored two runs. Landon Tircuit and Evan Jacob each had a base hit and a run batted in. Gary Vinet also had a base hit and scored a run. Brenden Zahn also had a run batted in.
Chalmette finished their season with a 17-10 overall record. In District 8-5A games, the Owls were unbeaten in ten district contests. Their district opponents were John Ehret, Higgins, West Jefferson, East Jefferson, Grace King, Riverdale and Bonnabel.
