 The 2021 Chalmette High softball team lost 11-0 to Hahnville in the Louisiana High School Athletic Association state playoffs. Chalmette also finished its season as the unbeaten District 8-5A Champions. Other District 8-5A teams are John Ehret, Higgins, West Jefferson, East Jefferson, Bonnabel, Riverdale and Grace King.
The Lady Tigers played very well in their playoff win over Chalmette. Hahnville had eight hits in the game and were leading 7-0 after the second inning.
Chalmette had three hits in the game. Money Littles, Kailey Bergeron and Ashley Dourrieu had the Lady Owl hits. Bergeron and Dourrieu were the only two seniors on the team.
